The role

We are looking for a Content Planner with a hands-on background in digital & social media content planning and trends to join our content studio. You will partner with our wider strategy, business and creative teams as well as client and external partners. This role’s purpose is to translate business objectives into impactful content strategy for digital and social media channels with the goal of driving tangible business results. These plans will focus on all digital and social platforms relevant in Japan (Korea as a second priority). While this role will focus on digital content marketing, a knowledge of brand-building and mass-awareness media campaign strategy will be useful as well. 


The ideal candidate possesses an extensive knowledge of content strategy, messaging, customer insights and application to journey thinking, content development and campaign optimization through data & analytics. There will be an equal focus on social platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Line, Kakao) and relevant digital platforms (website, emails, programmatic, etc). The ideal candidate possesses knows how to set up, manage and optimize effective campaigns.



  • Understand and be the voice of the customer need in the generation of strategies, development of digital journeys and execution of ideas.
  • Develop a testing agenda and learning roadmap for content.
  • This is a shared role: 50% digital marketing and 50% social marketing.
  • Partner with Strategists and other partners to translate market objectives into localized content messaging and plans for the different target audiences and social personas.
  • Content planning for digital and social marketing determining which content initiatives to execute and when in a content calendar.
  • Input and manage the yearly calendar planning for digital and social channels and create the relevant editorial calendars.
  • Make sure that digital and social content are integrated in one brand ecosystem keeping a consistent brand TOV.
  • Support of the creative team to develop content in line with the content plan and editorial calendar.
  • Manage top line analytics and support ongoing bi-weekly and quarterly reporting on campaign performance.
  • Work with team to create a measurement framework that defines what success looks like for content, as aligned to our overall vision of success for clients digital including social content efforts
  • Design an always-on strategy for client content sites around how we can maximize opportunities to co-create, distribute, and amplify branded/unbranded content to traffic to sites.
  • Propose best mix of formats, including
    • Programmatic advertising
    • Organic social distribution
    • Content partnerships


Skills and Experience Required

  • Min 5 years of working experience, with 3 years in relevant field of digital or social media content strategy, content management, analytics, and reporting
  • Proactively tapping into cultural trends/conversations with content planning and nuances finding sparks before it happens.
  • Ability to spot patterns and anomalies in data during campaign analysis
  • Experience with campaign management and ad serving technology: Sprinklr and Google Analytics
  • Broad understanding of the media and programmatic landscape
  • Proven ability to plan and create impactful campaigns in social media. Relevant certifications on paid display / social / analytics platforms are a plus.

Language skills

  • English (Fluent, minimum conversational)
  • Japanese and Korean (Added advantage)
