Overview

The role

We look for an ambitious CRM strategist to join our new in-house content studio built for our tobacco client. You will be responsible for the customer planning function across the client’s business where you will look to improve the performance of their content and CRM.

 

You’ll be leading a variety of projects, ranging from CRM strategy, loyalty program, customer journey planning, subscription program, content, campaign development, audience and cultural insight, and helping to measure marketing effectiveness. You will also be part of a planning team, supporting on building fully integrated campaigns, which feature CRM as a key component.

 

You will need to work closely with planners and data analysts to ensure that your solutions are data driven and measurable. You’ll be working closely and collaboratively with creative teams. You’ll need to develop close relationships with a wide range of clients across the business.

 

This role would suit an entrepreneurial integrated CRM planner, who wants to innovate and do things differently. You’ll have strong data and performance marketing skills. You’ll be curious about people, psychology, culture and technology. You’ll be great at cutting the crap and simplifying complexity. You’ll be great at inspiring creatives, but equally you’ll love formulating getting detailed with a spreadsheet to develop messaging matrices.

  • To lead day to day CRM planning across key clients and projects to ensure that the strategic advice you deliver to them is of a consistently excellent quality
  • To raise the bar in terms of the effectiveness of the comms we are delivering
  • To be a valued strategic partner to your clients: to get a deep understanding of their business challenges and opportunities
  • To identify ways in which we can grow our strategic remit and relationship
  • To work with our creatives to champion effective creative work that audiences value
  • To work with the data planners and analysts to ensure everything we do is data driven and measurable in terms of engagement and ROI

Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Experience developing integrated comms strategies across a CRM journey
  • Experience developing and delivering CRM Programs
  • Strong knowledge of Loyalty Program Strategy
  • Strong knowledge of Loyalty Program Design
  • CRM planning experience across eDM, LINE & Websites & eCommerce
  • Strong understanding of CRM segmentation and planning, email strategy and execution and measurement
  • Strong understanding of behavioural psychology and its application to marketing
  • Strong analytical skills, deriving insight and to simplifying complex problems
  • Strong communication skills: the ability to be clear and inspiring in written and verbal communications
  • Strong commercial understanding to ensure thinking is grounded in clients’ business issues
  • Excellent team-working skills
  • Excellent time management skills to get high volumes of work delivered on tight deadlines and on budget
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and the tools available to evaluate the effectiveness of our work
  • An understanding on Salesforce and Adobe experience platfroms
  • Able to use Salesforce and Adobe experience manager (added bonus)
  • Able to build creative excellence into our CRM and integrated content outputs
  • >8 years experience
