Within the Talent function, the Talent Team provides processes, policies and tools to contribute to the achievement of this goal through a balance of global standards applied consistently within business units and regions and the consideration of local and business specific requirements.

Responsibilities

Role

The Senior Associate (Talent Operations) will support the Talent Manager and Talent Director to helm day-to-day HR operations (including payroll management together with our Payroll Outsourcing vendor) and the implementation of various projects and initiatives.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Payroll Management

  • Management of payroll and income tax related matters for a headcount of approximately 200-300 employees, in collaboration with our Payroll Outsourcing vendor.
  • Maintenance of supporting payroll records and authorizations for internal and external audits
  • Act as main point of contact with the employees on payroll related matters and address payroll-related enquiries and concerns

 

HR Operations

  • Management and execution of HR operational processes throughout the Employee Life Cycle from on-boarding to exit.
  • Expats and Benefits administration
  • Administration of insurance matters, and oversee yearly insurance renewal and administration
  • Handling relevant reports such as employee data and headcount reports
  • Handling of Work Pass and related Passes process
  • Upholding good data management practices by ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR systems, and compliance with SOX, regulatory and policy standards.

Optimising and enhancing operational policies / procedures and system design to bring out the best value to the organization. 

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Diploma and above in Business Administration, Human Resource, Finance, or equivalent, with at least 2 years of payroll processing experience and at least 2 years of HR Operations experience.
  • Good knowledge of statutory regulations such as Singapore Employment Act 
  • Ability to multi-task and manage high-volume workload or multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines, with a strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet them
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially with Microsoft Excel applications
  • Self-motivated solutions seeker who is analytical and has good written/verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Maconomy system and SOX compliance, or experience working in a WPP agency, would be advantageous.
