Overview

Our Social@Ogilvy is looking for a Data Strategist to be based in our Bangkok office.

 

This is an exciting role based in the robust and dynamic automotive industry based in Bangkok, Thailand but working with multiple markets around the world. You will be the principal guiding hand for our Social specialists to turn data into actionable insights for content, community engagement and social commerce for our client’s business. You see beyond the numbers and are able to connect them to the work we are doing and the larger business goal.

 

Responsibilities

Your key areas of responsibility

 

 

The Social data expert for the Social Team and Marketing Science Unit

 

Within the social team, you are the consultant in assisting them define their key performance indicators from conversations, to content and social commerce. You also collaborate vigorously and have a strong relationship with our agency’s marketing Science unit in defining the contributions of social to the larger portion of the business

 

 

Setup and streamline of measurement infrastructure

 

Identify the right tools / vendors and collaborate with the team to meet their measurement needs. You will design and manage how the data is retrieved and gathered including the setup of an automated dashboard. You will then organize the datasets into a routine that can be easily modified or automated and from time to time revisit reports that need to be fine-tuned.

 

 

Collaborate with the central social team and markets

 

Align KPIs, , data practices and metrics for campaign and individual projects taking place for commerce, conversations and content. You will also be the point of consult for the markets for their day-to-day liaison with the tools and vendors and to help them trouble shoot challenges in data.

 

 

Turn consumer conversations to actionable insights

 

Together with the Conversation Strategist – define how to measure conversations from Social Listening and consumer sentiment to translate them into a measurable narrative and gleen actionable insights to support optimization

 

 

Constantly use data to improve the probability of success

 

You will constantly use data to analyse different scenarios to assess before / after impacts on day to day work and hero implementations. You’re always curious to understand how small changes creates a big impact to the business and immediately connect with our agency partners to identify moving parts to create better outcomes.
