Overview

Ogilvy Malaysia is looking for a Social Content Creator who is trainable and motivated to help take us to the next level. This role will be critical in the quality and effectiveness of all content shared on the social media channels and wherever else our content ends up!

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Content expert with deep knowledge of Social platforms and the ability to create weekly content calendars (specifically from an engagement perspective). Must liaison / report into content team at WPP.
  • Write, develop, edit content and copy for a variety of social platforms Ie: Trend-jacking content, topical days content , visual responses for brand conversations with fans (organic/ real-time), supplementary social assets to drive ongoing campaign’s conversations/promos
  • Must deliver ONE wow-engagement idea per quarter. Its impact will be determined by engaged users in the community and ORGANIC growth
  • Liaison with network teams to identify and repurpose content / creative / engagement acts from Global for the local market.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant copywriting and design and content creation experience in the social space -> to prioritize preference on art and get help from Community Manager to support Copy
  • Strategic and conceptual thinking
  • Ability to lead scrappy content creation
  • Passion for learning and self-improvement
  • Proactive and a self-starter
  • Positive attitude and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Adaptable and able to handle changes in briefs, priorities and edits
  • True passion for food & beverage vertical
