We are looking for a Rockstar Account Executive (AE) to join our team working on producing social & digital assets for a global automotive brand.


You will support the Account Manager being the day-to-day point of contact within the agency, liaising with clients and facilitating tasks through the internal system to ensure a smooth delivery of the assets. Excellent attention to detail, strong project management skills and accuracy in all communications either internal or external are a must.

We will expect you to keep abreast of the industry and consume a wide variety of social media looking for emerging trends and best practices, as well as looking at great references inside and outside the automotive category to help inspire the team.



  • Liaison between key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Understand the overall client business objectives and develop strategies as needed
  • Assist the Account Manager and Account Director on day-to-day delivery of output
  • Work with the wider team to ensure all content created is of the highest standards
  • Attend briefings/meetings both internal, externally and prepare minutes
  • Prepare and manage briefs and timelines as needed
  • Respond promptly to clients’ concerns, feedback and request while ensuring regular updates on the statuses of each project/campaign
  • Be meticulous and organized in content reviews and job filings


Client Management

  • Manage junior clients at the project level
  • Handle the typical day-to-day management of clients and their requests, including documentation, administration, coordination, etc.
  • Be able to develop a brief based on a good understanding and interpretation of client needs
  • Develop a robust relationship and understanding of project management with your delivery partners, ensuring that the client needs are heard in internal meetings
  • Assist in providing relevant market information and other facts necessary to address briefs
  • Organize and participate in brainstorming, make effective notes to capture ideas
  • Coordinate with various internal departments to keep everyone involved in processes and on schedule
  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive budgets and timing plans from the start of the project
  • Develop a critical eye for material produced by account team/creative ensuring it is free of errors and omissions
  • Assist in composing, editing and proofreading high-quality communications materials including tweets, blog content, briefing documents, pitch letters, internal memos, fact sheets client correspondence or press releases
  • Assist all offline activities/events and arrange logistics for relevant parties


  • Show an active curiosity for category and client strategic needs
  • Work with junior and mid clients to understand both strategic needs as well as operational issues which might affect the strategy (escalate accordingly)
  • Assist with the preparation of new business pitches
  • Assist in preparing relevant materials, including market information, trends, competitive information as well as client product information for development of plans or strategies

Creative Leadership

  • Begin to build strong bonds and trust with creative partners, leveraging interpersonal skills to help understand the needs and challenges of different disciplines so that you can represent them better to the client in briefings and conversations
  • Ensure creative team motivation and working processes
  • Assist in arranging and contributing at brainstorming sessions


Leadership & People Management

  • Take more ownership over projects, actively seeking to lead projects under supervision


  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in marketing, communications, advertisement, media, digital, public relations, etc.
  • Business level of English and Japanese.
  • Experience in communications or related field, Industry experience preferred
  • Basic writing skills, strong presentation capabilities (media relations skills)
  • An independent worker that works well on a team and can be proactive and a self-starter
  • Detail-oriented, organized and dedicated; proactive and enthusiastic with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines; a quick learner
  • Advanced knowledge of working software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience working on Social would be ideal
  • Interest and/or experience in automotive
