Overview

A Senior Art Director is a person who directs, supervises and unify the vision. As a Senior Art Director, you are not only the communicator but also responsible for how the communication is conveyed visually by translating messages, concepts, idea and moods into imagery and solidifying the imagination to target audiences.

Responsibilities

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Client Management

  • Communicate with both account colleagues and Clients to gain a better understanding of Clients’ needs, and provide efficient creative solutions.

 

Strategy

  • Work with planners to develop communication strategies as needed.

 

Creative Leadership

  • Responsible for the project which are undertaken with senior copywriters.
  • Comprehend communication strategies through creative briefings, and innovative ideas with copywriters and other creatives.
  • Produce design drafts for teams and Clients based on different communication channels.
  • Control the cost of production.
  • Act as the main force of visual execution and be responsible for quality control.
  • Have good communication skills and teamwork skills when working with collaborators.
  • As a “senior student”, help designers become familiar with the qualities of commercial art and enhance their creative thinking and abilities.
  • Be passionate about emerging tech knowledge, share helpful information with colleagues, and provide inspiring creative ideas for works.
  • Proficiency in mainstream design software.
  • Responsible for creative and effectiveness recognition at local and international awards competitions and new/existing business growth.
