Verticurl, a WPP company is looking for a passionate talent who will build a great innovation studio culture to work on a most exciting game projects for fortune 500 clients. 

We are committed to build a gamified engagement for our client’s brand to create an unforgettable customer experience. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic individual who will collaborate with our Management, Art teams, Developers, and Designers to define the game's art style. 
The projects will include social/casual video games for devices such as iPhone, iPad, tablets, and other portable platforms.


We are looking for a Game Visual Effects Artist. The ideal candidate should have strong artistic skills and an understanding of the technical constraints of the target platforms. The VFX Artist will be responsible for gameplay, environmental, and UI effects.



  • Design and create
    • procedural simulations
    • FX animation
    • dynamic simulations
    • particle systems, textures, and models
    • fluid systems
  • Light and render FX elements and producing composites to showcase ideas and concepts
  • Provide creative artistic solutions and explore new styles.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for game ideas and artistic styles.
  • Provide technical support and problem solving whenever required.
  • Assist in setting up or maintaining a library of effects presets which can be loaded and applied across an entire game or a selection of several games



  • At least 2 years’ experience in a game production pipeline with a minimum 1 year working on Visual effects
  • Proficient skill with Adobe Photoshop. After Effects and equivalent tools
  • Good knowledge of 3DS Max particle/dynamics systems and special effects creation
  • Competent understating of style guidelines, design process, and creative workflow.
  • Competent understanding of Visual Feedback and Effects animation.
  • Competent understanding of Sprite creation.
  • Competent knowledge of the sense of color, design, perspective, and composition.
  • Competent level in drawing and illustration skills (relief, lighting, materials, perspective, colors...).
  • Be original, inventive, creative, and artistic.
  • Work well as part of a team and be able to take direction from the lead artist, and producers.
