Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a cohesive and comprehensive communication strategy and plan (both internal and external) across the region that supports both the company vision and the service offering thought-leadership objectives
  • Develop and manage various internal and external communication program and content across different channels of media, social, digital, event
  • Build and maintain good relations with media and industry organizations to provide accurate information, perform solid story pitching, and possible risk management if applicable
  • Work with the regional business leaders and marketing team to ensure alignment of message delivery, related content development and event collaboration aiming to drive growth
  • Seek out content and partnership opportunities to promote the company’s thought leadership, including speaking engagements and platforms
  • Monitor new market trends, opportunities and stories in the industry

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A university degree or above, and in journalism or communications is a plus
  • Strong media relations with regional media, including trade media, mainstream and business press.
  • 6+ years of total working experience in an Asia regional role of communication-related functions and have a strong knowledge of the agency sector
  • Native English speaker and writer
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with teams and internal/external partners
  • Highly-effective, proactive and collaborative team player with minimal supervision and a proven track record in working with teams in different locations
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills; able to prioritize and work under pressure
  • Tech-savvy on various use of digital tools and platforms, including proficiency in leveraging social media networks
  • You are a creative mind both in your area of expertise and in the way you approach a new situation
  • You are sensitive to brand territory and positioning
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, with an entrepreneur mindset and a proactive can-do attitude
  • You are passionate and willing to learn
