Overview

Consultants work with a team of analysts to support the media teams and clients in the intelligent use of data. They lead clients along a path of continual learning and campaign improvement

 

Major facets of the role include:

  • Using data efficiently to drive actionable insights
  • Presenting information in a manner that is both easy for a lay-person to understand as well as statistically sound

Responsibilities

  • Development of strategic concepts for brands
  • Helping / preparation for client presentations
  • Market and competitor research, consumer behavior
  • Develop and communicate innovative and effective branding strategies and concepts
  • Identify marketing issues, assess client offerings and current customer engagement strategies to understand the implication for the customer
  • Determine opportunities to be addressed through research and analyze trends/results to determine strategic implications
  • Client facing role with frequent interactions with marketing and business clients; 
  • Develop and maintain long term client relationships and seek opportunities to develop new relationships
  • Ensure regular communication with client partners and Brand Union leadership team; keen to always share work for feedback
  • Act as a critical member of the client account team at Brand Union, provide guidance and expertise for optimal strategic output in client deliverables

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in a consultant or analytical role
  • Branding and/or marketing consultancy experience/background
  • Ability to manage time effectively to set and meet client deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be a team player with experience working on a cross-functional team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including presentation skills)
  • Supervisory and client-facing experience
  • Self-starter, comfortable initiating and working independently, but also able to collaborate across disciplines, and client and agency teams
  • Support leadership team with overall team communications, when required
  • Help mentor junior members of the team
  • Facilitate internal learning and development through training and workshops (for strategy and across functions)
  • Encourage learning and sharing of ideas across the network
  • Excellent understanding of all branding deliverables and associated disciplines such as positioning, architecture, messaging, segmentation, research, engagement and experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Educated to at least Bachelor degree level
