Ever wanted to create social media content for millions to see and engage with? Social@Ogilvy is looking for a Social Specialist (SS) to handle publishing and conversation management solely for a multinational client.


Working with the client, the client’s ASEAN hub, and its creative agency team, the SS will publish (localize if necessary) regional content and create new content for the local client’s different social media assets and brands. He or she will also localize or craft responses to comments, FAQs, and complaints. Collaborating with the ASEAN Hub on process, protocols, and local social insights, he or she will report directly to the ASEAN Customer Interaction Center (CIC) Head, and will be deployed to the client's office.



Content Creation/Localization, Publishing, Tagging, & Scheduling:

  • Publish content from ASEAN HUB Toolkit, localize if necessary
  • Spot opportunities from trending topics and events, and create timely & engaging content that link back to the brand and are suitable for social media assets
  • Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
  • Live coverage of client events
  • Create social media posts for online influencers and blog topic guides for various brands
  • Create real-time content for real-time moment opportunities


Proactive Social Listening & Reporting:

  • Listen to client-related online conversations on social media channels using analytics & listening tools, to obtain metrics & insights about the topics, volume and sentiment
  • Do proactive listening that drives strategies, spots content opportunities, and anticipates potential crises
  • Provide listening, monitoring, performance tracking, and ad hoc social reports
  • Gather and share local trends and insights with the ASEAN Hub
  • Do issue/crisis monitoring during business hours and skeletal monitoring between 9PM and 1AM and on weekends and holidays


Social Interactions (Response, Moderation, Interjections, and Conversation):

  • Craft conversational, lively, and smart response spiels for FAQs, risk mitigation plans, and interjections in various brand voices
  • Engage with consumers on different social platforms and email, responding to their questions & complaints and supporting the escalation process, as well as to generate interactions/conversations
  • Interjecting into conversations about passion points the brands want to own




  • Degree in Communications/PR/Marketing or similar studies
  • 3-5 years proven working experience in digital marketing, social media, advertising, and/or publishing
  • Demonstrable experience in copywriting and creating effective content (copy + photo/graphics/video) for social media fast/in real-time
  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
  • Skills in photography and graphic design a plus
  • Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of analytics, listening, and social media management tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Sysomos, Gazemetrix, Netbase, Sprinklr, Quintly, Social Bakers, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of social media platform constraints
  • Written fluency in both English and the local language a must
  • Background in crisis management a plus
  • Must have good own online reputation and should be a Coca-Cola drinker
