    In order to respond effectively to the rapidly changing production landscape, Ogilvy and Hogarth have recently agreed a new global partnership. This partnership is currently operational in 14 Markets.. The partnership covers three key areas of Ogilvy’s Clients production: Moving image, Campaign Digital and Print. The model is designed to provide Ogilvy offices with an onsite presence and to provide a portal into the wider production capabilities of Hogarth globally:

    ONSITE

    Bespoke and optimized  to each Ogilvy Office.

    Works closely with Creative teams, developing expert Client knowledge

    OFFSITE

    Hogarth Centres of Excellence:deliver category expertise and Global capacity

    OFFSHORE

    Hubs with required scale to drive speed of delivery and required efficiencies

     

    Responsibilities

    The role is to build the entity into a powerful, modern production house by leading and managing the onsite teams (based in Ogilvy’s Jakarta office),) and to act as the conduit into Hogarth – both locally and regionally as above. The quality of the work produced is our absolute driving force. Key to the role is to build excellent relationships with key Ogilvy stakeholders – local management including the Head of the Ogilvy ‘Delivery’ function and – critically – the wider creative community. Whilst there is an agreed process for the work to come into this Hogarth unit, winning the hearts and minds of this community is critical to the success of the role. You need to be seen by Ogilvy as the true production expert, with a very strong and clear association with high quality work. Attracting the talent to produce this work is also critical, as is the need to build strong relationships with clients and to work in large multi-faceted new business teams.

     

    You will have overall responsibility for profitability and growth of the Indonesian business. You will drive the overall success of the partnership

     

    The current staff numbers of this unit is approximately 10.

     

    Reporting

     

    The role reports into the Regional Director APAC, with a matrix into the Ogilvy Country CEO. A key relationship (but not reporting into) is with the Local Head of Production who controls all Ogilvy production output.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience of managing fast paced production across broadcast, print and a strong background in digital production
    • Experience managing a cross discipline team including Client Services and Production teams.
    • Experience in the advertising industry.
    • Excellent client facing skills.
    • Ability to manage a high volume of change and deal with ambiguity.
    • Proven experience in designing, managing and measuring effective sourcing strategies.
    • Strategic thinker with hands-on style to deliver practical and effective solutions.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – demonstrable evidence that they can build relationships at all levels of the business, be trusted and known to always act with integrity.
    • Experience creating and implementing projects, processes, and systems from inception to completion.
    • Sense of urgency, can do attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Well organized and comfortable with prioritising and managing multiple priorities and tasks
    • Sound commercial and financial understanding
