    Job Brief

     

    We are looking for a Senior Associate to handle a variety of human capital related administrative duties. Your role is to act as the liaison between the company and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolutions of all queries. You will also support our daily HR activities and assist in coordinating HR guidelines, process and relevant documentation.

     

    The ideal candidate is a people-person, with exceptional people skills and a passion for working with people. You should be purpose-focused, trustworthy, with high integrity, an excellent listener and solutions oriented.

     

    Familiarity with our industry is an advantage. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our HR department is organized and operates to attract, hire and maintain our employees.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities

    • Reporting to the Talent Director, you will be a key member of the HR team focusing on both Recruitment and Business Partnering roles.
    • Key to your success will be your ability to engage the leaders on a strategic level whilst retaining the oversight role on HR operational matters for your business units.
    • You will be responsible for the entire spectrum of HR activities with emphasis in recruitment and selection processes including understanding of requirements, job postings, screening of candidates, interview arrangements, reference checks, salary proposals, making offers to candidates and new staff orientation.
    • Partner with the business leaders to deliver the talent strategy which should encompass attraction, development and retention
    • Partner with the business to actively manage and influence the performance, development and career process
    • Participate in the design and/or implementation of engagement initiatives to create an exceptional Ogilvy experience
    • Be the lead change agent for the deployment of all talent programs for the business
    • Consult with business leaders on talent needs, headcount and promotion planning
    • Participate in internal and external audits by providing talent insights
    • Facilitate timely resolution to complex and urgent employee relation issues
    • Take up of any additional ad-hoc projects and HR functions assigned

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource/Business Administration or its equivalent
    • Minimum 3 to 5 years of HR experience, preferably in advertising / media industries
    • Energetic, fast learning, responsible, mature and meticulous with a can-do attitude and good sense of confidentiality
    • Team player with good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
    • Comfortable working with staff at all levels
