    Social@Ogilvy is looking for Data Analyst based in our Bangkok office.


    Job Summary:

    Manage communications analytics (social media and earned media) for the International Markets.



    • Develop a thorough understanding of the role of communications activity in the purchase process and undertake analytics that will inform and improve future communications campaigns
    • Lead ongoing earned and owned media measurement activities and KPI setting for markets and numerous product lines in the region. Including cross-channel campaign performance analysis
    • Deliver content marketing analysis and optimization via A/B testing on display, CTA, landing page, etc
    • Answer business questions via social listening (basic brand health tracking for various markets and nameplates, consumer perception analysis, customer satisfaction analysis, ad hoc research projects)
    • Collaborate with partner agencies
    • Manage RFQ and evaluation for relevant vendors and tools and be the main contact for markets on tool-related and research study related inquiries
    • Lead ad hoc market research projects (SOW, and study design, insights delivery)
    • Work closely with regional clients in mid to senior management positions Develop and deliver presentations


    Three primary KPIs for this role:

    • Timely delivery of data analysis, reports and presentations
    • Help to create and promote an analytics culture within the Communications team
    • Continue to deliver very high levels of client satisfaction in the field of analytics


    • Educated to degree level in a numerical or marketing discipline
    • Between 4 and 8 years work experience in a business consultancy, market research or data analysis role
    • Fluent in English
    • Willing to be based in Bangkok
    • Excellent client servicing and account management skills
    • Problem solving and communication skills
    • Innovative mindset, proactive, can-do attitude (design analytics that can translate intangible communications efforts into measurable business results
    • Experience in working with earned media and major social media platforms is preferred
    • Understanding of paid media optimization (paid social, content marketing)
    • Proficient in the use of Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Familiar with one or more of Eviews, SPSS or R.
    • An in-depth understanding and prior application of econometrics would be particularly valuable.
