    As an Art Director with the Social & Content Studio capability at Ogilvy Singapore, you will partner with a Copywriter to conceptualize cut through social by design campaigns, apply expert art direction to the visual elements of creative projects, and inspire the agency’s clients to be creatively progressive, through the application of fresh and inventive visual work for social platforms.

    Responsibilities

    • Create and conceptualize multiple concepts for new assignments
    • Be a storyteller that is able to translate creative to different social media platforms and formats. In all social media-specific concepts, be sure to understand various execution formats and incorporate creative best practices for networks including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Messenger and YouTube
    • Ability to execute ideas flawlessly--paying particular attention to design, layout and typography.
    • Remain current on industry, cultural, and technology trends, and look for opportunities to proactively incorporate them into your team’s creative concepts.
    • Partner with your account team, social media strategists, content managers and media planners; and proactively integrate with other brand strategists, creative leads and production teams

    Qualifications

    • 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency setting.
    • Have a strong grasp of motion graphics and ability to edit video and create gifs in Adobe After Effects
    • Possess experience in an agency environment such as marketing, advertising or PR
    • Strong portfolio with demonstrated examples working across multiple channels including web, mobile, social and experiential
    • Have experienced working on new business presentations and preparing creative themes and taglines
    • Must be self-motivated, hard-working, well-organized, thick skinned and resilient to ever-changing timelines, requests, and deliverables; must not be afraid to confront the problems
    • On-going drive to understand emerging techniques, digital design trends and philosophies in marketing, technology, interaction and social media
    • Excellent oral and written presentation and communication abilities, internal and external
