Overview

The SEO Leader will also be responsible for researching advertising and website layout trends that will generate more page traffic and obtain a high-ranking placement in the results page of search engines.To be successful as an SEO you must be willing to keep abreast of industry innovations and trends and with strong stakeholder management ability to work cross-functionality to encourage change and adoption of best practices for SEO. A good SEO values quality content as well as technical insight to optimize the website for search engines.By generating more leads for the business you’ll open up new opportunities for driving growth.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and analysing client sites for areas that can be improved and optimized
  • Work with development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented
  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming in Vietnamese and potentially in English
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Building strategic understanding of consumers profiles and their unmet needs
  • Identifying powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic
  • Track, report and analyze website analytics and initiatives and campaigns
  • Filling websites and other content with effective keywords
  • Writing or planning effective SEO content plan for blogs, websites and social media accounts
  • Developing and implement link building strategies
  • Analysing keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors
  • Compiling and presenting SEO strategy decks to client (Vietnamese or English)

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of proven achievement with Global SEO with a large B2C audience
  • Language ability – Native Vietnamese and English business level or above
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools, Ahrefs, Advanced web ranking, Screaming Frog, Google AdWords, Keyword planner, advanced Google Analytics, Salesforce, technical audit tools and Page Speed insights.
  • Strong working knowledge of search engine optimization practices
  • Experience with bid management tools
  • Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and ASO
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms, BERT principles, Core web vitals, EAT, YMYL page ranking practices
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems
  • Understanding of first, second and third party data to drive unique campaigns.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and single handedly lead and manage client expectations.
