Overview

Human Resources Manager position requires solid HR generalist skills, strong internal consulting skills and leadership. Our work focuses on talent management, recruiting, onboarding, training, employee relations and Internal communication program. You will be fully immersed in the HR functions, providing important tactical and advisory support for employees, managers, and leaders, and playing a key role in implementing our talent strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Builds positive relationships with employees through regular outreach and touch points. Becomes a trusted resource for counsel on a variety of HR issues. 
  • Serves as an expert advisor to hiring managers on recruitment-related matters, manages candidate relationships and build a robust talent pipeline; represents firm at university and Agency industry.
  • Leads the employee onboarding process, ensuring a positive and inspiring new hire experience. Proactively engages with new hires to ensure their onboarding experience is effective and meaningful. 
  • Handle the offer, labor contract, yearly health check-up, and company events.
  • Leads and supports different aspects of the performance management process; provides coaching to managers related to performance management, leads training sessions as needed, and advises managers and employees on our performance management process. 
  • Uses strong problem-solving skills and HR knowledge to independently resolve employee relations matters.
  • Keeps a hand on the pulse of the office by routinely and proactively engaging with employees to sustain an ongoing understanding of office-wide morale, concerns, and important themes. 
  • Conducts exit interviews and ensures trends and key takeaways are captured. Lead HR team members on any resulting improvements and initiatives. 
  • Becomes fully fluent in and maximizes a variety of HR systems.
  • Lead company internal communication program, coordinate with Creative team to run internal communication activities throughout the year.
  • Manages ad-hoc projects as required & other responsibilities as needed from BOD.
  • Serves as a backup for the other HR team members to ensure coverage during vacations or other.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience as an HR Generalist including experience with recruiting and employee relations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Other HR certifications and education are preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to form and maintain effective, credible relationships with employees, managers and company leadership and be seen as a go-to resource for a wide variety of HR matters. 
  • Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices, as well as general HR functions to include recruiting, compensation, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, training and internal communication program.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills exercises good judgment in use of various communication channels (email, phone, in-person) and is equally effective with each channel. 
  • Experienced, comfortable and composed with sensitive or difficult conversations around a variety of topics.
