We are looking for a person who is solutions driven, passionate about brands, has good communication / interpersonal skills and above all, is organised and has experience of dealing with clients preferably global and regional.
It’s important for the person to be a multitasker and process/ manage multiple projects in parallel – with 10 years of agency work experience in a market or region.
The role has 3 key deliverables:
a) It is about managing the day to day on a Global CPG brand supporting the Biz Lead to ensure we deliver effectively in markets - the challenge however is that the deliveries happen in markets and we need to coordinate , inspire, monitor/guide the work from SG where the key regional /Global client interphase is . The role will be linked to an anchor client and will be important in the overall management of time and resources to deliver effectively.
b) to drive the brand and biz conversations across key brands and clients, primarily in the agencies key clients, the role on these clients will be project specific and the need is to be fully accountable as the project owner of select Global/Regional projects, leading from the front.
c) As part of the regional /global team – there are always proactive tasks one needs to take on and deliver, these could be creative projects or client lead tasks but are important to the broader agency engagement. These projects will be on select clients / agency network priorities and could be approximately 20-25% of time.
All the above give an opportunity to learn and get the individual ready for the next big opportunity ie: to lead a business or a set of businesses in market or regionally. This role will be supported by an Associate Account Director or Account Manager.
This role will report into the Chief Client Officer who also heads key accounts in Asia. The structure is very flat and thus gives the successful candidate an opportunity to learn and engage with senior clients and Ogilvy leadership.
In this role – you will need to work across global time zones and most engagement will be on phones / zoom calls with team, working virtually. This calls for a positive and highly passionate and engaging temperament. The role currently does not have any support of Account Manager or Account Executive for now and the scope of work would determine the same moving forward.
The role will have a 3-month probation and review of salary in 12 - 18months since, it however doesn't stop the person from earning any spot bonus within the period and the probation period can also be advanced based on performance .
