Overview

You will bring value to our clients through exceptional modern marketing skills. “In it to win it’, you need to have great hunting instincts and know when to bring in the capabilities to meet client needs and help close the deal. You will typically act as managers of one large and/or multiple smaller Integrated regional/global accounts that account for $5+MM in revenue. You need to possess C-Suite gravitas and are valued by our most senior clients for their partnership and strategic guidance. You are an agency hunter and team builder who drive client business results, as well as our Agency share of wallet. Importantly, you will act as an advocate and champion of the Ogilvy brand to our clients, employees and candidates alike. You are an exceptional team leader who inspires others to act courageously.

  • Managing one large regional/global Integrated client and/or a portfolio of clients’ businesses worth $5+MM in revenue
  • Nurturing and growing key senior client relationships by being a trusted advisor to senior client management and working as an objective insider and advocate for the entire client organization
  • Constantly hunting for organic new business growth
  • Drive all aspects of client service, including strategy, program development and execution-leading growth and development of their respective practice area
  • Leading client thinking on strategy development and providing targeted, actionable insights
  • Understanding the agency business model and identifying and utilizing all Agency capabilities to produce exceptional results for the client
  • Partnering with capabilities leads to ensure delivery on our Make Brands Matter promise
  • Managing client P&L, business growth and an operating target margin of 60%
  • Keeping your eye on client satisfaction metrics and associated performance measures
  • Generating ideas and actions that produce tangible business results
  • Initiating thought leadership projects that enhance our reputation and add value to our client’s business
  • Partnering with PM leadership to ensure appropriate resources are available to deliver and drive client growth as well as maximize performance and productivity
  • Managing integrated agency teams of 10+, inspiring and motivating action across departments and capabilities; fostering teamwork
  • Attracting and retaining core talent and managing others to their maximum potential; developing and maintaining high levels of team effectiveness and satisfaction (target below 20% attrition)
  • Working closely with HR on performance reviews and goal setting for your team; setting aggressive yet achievable performance goals for self and others
  • Cultivating an atmosphere that embraces diversity and inclusion within the team and agency
  • Helps Ogilvy to develop a positive image in the business community and other communities (e.g., media, political, interest groups) important to our professional performance

  • 11-14 years of experience, including 7+ years of supervisory experience
  • Digitally fluent, with an understanding of the complex, fragmented media landscape
  • Deep and thorough understanding of Ogilvy’s portfolio, using all available capabilities to drive annual client growth of 3-5%
  • Strong business & financial acumen
  • Being the client’s gatekeeper; ensuring creative excellence/output
